The University of Michigan defensive tackle, Will Johnson (nicknamed Paul Bunyan) set a new NFL record by bench pressing the standard 225 lbs. an amazing 47 times!

I am very excited to see him succeed by helping himself out with a stellar performance at his pro day today.  He always has been a hard worker who possesses great character. And to think, Will wasn’t even invited to the NFL Combine….

He definitely made sure scouts know about him now!

If there was any question about him being drafted prior to today, I believe there is no longer any such doubt.

Attribute this victory not only to Johnson, but also to Michigan’s superior strength and conditioning coach Mike Barwis.

Way to go Will!
