Rey Maualuga Scouting Report

One of the nastiest, hardest hitting linebackers in college football. Quarterbacks wet their pants thinking about being hit by Maualuga. Covers the field well, and gives good effort all the time. He shows a passion for the game, and likes to have a good time on and off the field. Doesn’t possess blinding speed or incredible hands, but is very instinctive and punishes the ball carrier. Played his best games against top competition. Of all the players in the first round, Maualuga seems slightly underrated and should enjoy an amazing NFL career.

  1. The Ghostwriter says:

I would certainly want Maualuga on my team. It always jars me whenever I see some of the draft experts out there placing him at the bottom of their first rounds. The guy will be a huge asset to whatever team selects him.

  2. David says:

It frustrates me too. I think he is easily a top 15 pick and one of the very best players in this entire draft.
