But keep in mind how Ryan's former team was built on defense, and actually had great success even with the relatively similar quality quarterbacks. Who knows whether that was a decision Rex Ryan was in favor of or not. Yet, it makes you wonder how valuable a qb is to him right now? My opinion is that Sanchez is a good pick for the Jets at #17. I just am not too keen on the flashier receivers. Maclin seems more like a glorified slot receiver. Nevertheless, the Jets wouldn't surprise me by choosing any of the top receivers available.
